The Brilliant Single guy" is formally here, and he's demonstrating that finding love is rarely past the point of no return.

Gerry Turner, a 71-year-old granddad from Indiana, will star as ABC's very first senior resident driving man when he looks for affection on TV this fall.

"The Brilliant Single guy" is the most recent side project in the "Lone ranger" establishment, which has circulated 60 seasons since it appeared in 2002. The impending series will feature a "entirely different sort of romantic tale — oone for the brilliant years," per ABC's rundown, which says a "irredeemable heartfelt is allowed a second an open door at love in the mission for a team up with whom to share the sunset extended lengths of life."

The side project, which will air this fall on Mondays at 10 p.m., is another contort to ABC's long-running dating show establishment, which for a considerable length of time has for the most part revolved around 20-and 30-something projects.

Turner is depicted by the organization as a "enchanting 71-year-old patriarch" who will show that romantic tales "just get better with age."

A resigned restaurateur and hovering father and granddad, Gerry (articulated like "Gary"), lives in his fantasy house on a delightful lake in Indiana. He's in many cases in the middle of facilitating grills, playing pickleball, applauding his #1 Chicago sports groups, four-wheeling, and investing energy with loved ones at eateries and neighborhood torment.

Turner wedded his secondary school darling, Toni, in 1974. They lived joyfully together for quite a while with their two little girls, Angie and Jenny, and later with their two grandkids, Charlee and Payton. Unfortunately, Toni abruptly became sick and passed on in 2017. Six years after her passing, and with the backing of his family, Turner is currently prepared to find love once more.
